形態特徵

Rhizomes short-creeping or suberect, stout, covered with rather thin shining brown scales at the apex, the scales about 8 mm long and 1 mm wide, with pale fimbriate margins.
Stipes approximate, slender, pale brown to stramineous, 20-35 cm long in sterile fronds, about 50 cm long in the fertile, glabrous except for scattered hairs and scaly at base; laminae ovate, bipinnate at base, apical portion deeply pinnatifid, with 2-3 pairs of lateral pinnae; lowest pinnae much enlarged, with 1 pair of stalked pinnules, the basiscopic one being much longer than the acroscopic one; rachises grooved above; veins forming a row of costal areolae and copiously anastomosing to the margins, many areolae without included veinlets; rachises and costae densely covered with ctenitis hairs on upper side.
Sori round, terminal on veinlets; indusia round or reniform, sometimes unequal at the base, firm, brown, persistent.

世界 : from N. India eastwards to Taiwan and southwards to Malaya and Java.
